The Tara Puja Ceremony is perhaps the most popular feminine manifestation of all the Buddhas. Known to have been born from the tears of Avaloketishvara, the Buddha of compassion, she is believed to have made a strong pledge and commitment to rescue those in dire need of enlightened support and blessings especially in times of difficulties. Hence, she is popularly worshipped for her swift bestowals of wish fulfilling grace and energy.
