Remembrance Service

Remembrance Service at Unity of BuffaloWednesday, December 12 @ 7:00 p.m.

This Service is an opportunity to share in our remembrance of friends and loved ones that have passed on to the next dimension. Bring a picture or memento to share.

We are invited to recognize the spirit of the people who have touched our lives, and by participating many people are able to move through feelings of loss and sadness, and clear some space to enter into the holidays with a joyful heart.

With the holidays coming many people have a great anticipation of sharing family traditions, celebrating with holiday parties, and wishing for a prosperous New Year. For some though, the holidays can trigger other feelings due to past loss or unresolved grief.

This phenomenon is well known and well documented. Enter “holiday depression” in any search engine online and you will find a startling number of articles. Many of them have suggestions for coping with the holiday blues. One frequent suggestion is to reach out to a faith community.

Even if you have never attended services at Unity of Buffalo before, you are welcome to join us. You will find our CommUNITY warmly welcoming to people of every ethnicity, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, economic status, occupation, and faith background.
