Welcome to Unity of Buffalo’s Online Sunday Service for June 28, 2020!
We are a Church Without Walls!
This Sunday’s Lesson: “Grief, Forgiveness and AWAKENING”, with special guest speaker, Lynn Tranchell!
Lynn is a Licensed Unity Teacher, an award winning Life Mastery Coach, and a Certified Q Coach.
We are all grieving as a result of COVID 19, the issues of racial inequality and police reform, the many media accounts of social injustice, and the rampant acrimony and vitriol dividing our communities throughout our nation and world. This type of grieving is much different though than the types of grief a lot of us have experienced before. This is not just individual, or even family grief. It's global! During Sunday's lesson, we'll examine this grief through the lens of Unity’s Spiritual beliefs, and practice how we can process and reach for our higher consciousness, knowing that we are always affirming Divine Order in all that we do. How can we experience, and then move through and learn from the grief, coming to our awakening of the Divinity in all of us; in everything and everyone around us, and in everything situation we experience. Even in grief, uncertainty, struggle and fear, we affirm that spiritual understanding gracefully guides our will.
I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9
We are also very pleased to welcome John Michaels, Unity of Buffalo Prayer Chaplain, as our platform parter. Also, Amy Barone as our Prayer Chaplain, leading us in prayer and holding sacred space, and Mike Serio, our music director, along with Anandhi George, performing our special music preceding our meditation time with “Amazing Things” by Jana Stanfield.
All our welcome to join our Sunday Services, for now while we practice online, and once again when we are able to practice in person at our church building. We celebrate diversity and oneness! Unity of Buffalo practices the Presence of God through prayer, education, service, creativity and commUnity.
