A message from Tiffany Jadoo
June 25, 2020

Hello Unity of Buffalo Friends!

Hope you all are doing well and able to enjoy some of this sunshine we have been getting. I just wanted to write on behalf of the board to update you with what is going on at Unity of Buffalo and what we are planning to do to stay connected.

The board has decided to continue our online services through the end of August. This means there will be no in-person services or activity in our church building until at least September 1, 2020. We will continue to keep you updated as time progresses.

In the meantime, we have heard the desire for some in person gathering. We would still recommend face covering and maintaining the recommended 6 feet of physical distance.

In response to this, here are some scheduled events to gather with our Unity family.

Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 7:00 PM at Unity Peace Park

August (Date TBD) Pet Blessing at Unity Peace Park
Sharing of a special animal blessing!
It will be fun meeting and seeing everyone's FAMILY members, whether they're four-legged, or have wings, gills, scales or if you're bringing a photo to share!

Financial Update
We are so grateful for your continued giving!  We are in good standing. We are operating a little under budget. There are some expenses we are not incurring since not using the church building. Through the end of May, we are running a surplus of almost $4,000 in general operating income over expenses.

We have established a task force to help with envisioning what we need to do to prepare for moving forward. The task force will recommend to the board policies and procedures for our church to gradually open up.

There are currently 8 people who have agreed to serve on the task force. If you are interested in joining the task force, please contact Mary Anne Kennedy-Sykes at maryannek317@verizon.net
